Are you our new Product Designer?

This is a exciting new opportunity for an Intermediate Product Designer, to help us keep raising the bar! If you’re a thoughtful designer who loves solving real user problems, collaborating closely with product and engineering teams, and crafting polished, high quality interfaces, you’ll feel right at home at Tracksuit.

You’ll join one of our newest and most exciting squads; a fun, high performance, deeply collaborative group who get things done and care about building a product people love.

As an Intermediate Product Designer, you’ll work within a clearly defined product area, supported by our Head of Product Design, Senior/Staff Designers in Sydney, and your PM + Engineering Manager trio. You’ll grow your craft across UX, research, visual design, and AI‑assisted design engineering all while helping shape the future of Tracksuit’s design system and product experience.

What you'll work on

    Research & Discovery
  • Plan and run user interviews, concept tests, and usability sessions
  • Synthesise insights into clear, actionable direction for your squad
  • Build a deep understanding of user needs within your product area
  • Design Craft

  • Own end‑to‑end design execution for features in your squad
  • Create flows, interactions, and polished UI that meet Tracksuit’s quality bar
  • Seek critique, iterate thoughtfully, and always aim for clarity and simplicity
  • Design System

  • Work confidently within the Tracksuit design system
  • Spot gaps, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement
  • Collaboration

  • Partner closely with your PM and Engineering Manager throughout the product cycle
  • Communicate decisions, progress, and blockers clearly
  • Contribute positively to critique sessions and team culture
  • Product Thinking

  • Connect design decisions to user outcomes and commercial goals
  • Bring ideas that strengthen your squad’s product direction

That's the role, who are you?

  • 2–4 years experience in product design roles; you have had time to start building your UI craft and solid foundations in UX fundamentals
  • Confidence in Figma - your comfortable in your ability to create UI/UX designs, prototypes, diagrams, and product visuals
  • Conducting or supporting user research; You might already be talking to customers, exploring problems, and shaping solutions, or have the desire to jump into this.
  • Excellent communication! Adjusting your language for different audiences comes naturally, and you welcome conversation with a wide cross section of customers
  • You’re a sponge! Eager to learn, constantly curious and open to direction and feedback.
  • Team players granted all access; No big egos, just bring your genuine, down to earth, kind self!
  • Nice to haves

  • Familiarity with AI‑assisted design tools
  • Bonus points for vibe‑coding or early experimentation with AI design engineering
  • Formal education in UX and/or design would be ideal
