What you’ll do:

We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented, and creative producer to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of our keynotes and breakouts for our largest flagship internal and external events. This role will be responsible for managing various aspects of the main stage experience, including content production, speaker coordination, and event logistics. The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator, a skilled problem solver, and a tech-savvy professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. Comfort and proficiency in engaging with executives are essential for success in this role. As part of a growing team with an expanding portfolio of events, this position offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on our most important events of the year.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Communications, Product Marketing, and Events teams to define the content components for each session ensuring alignment with overall event objectives and audience takeaway goals.
  • Work closely with the Events and Design teams to assess the staffing requirements (both internal and external) for each project, taking into account available budget constraints. Help set realistic expectations for what can be achieved within those limits.
  • Collaborate with Communications, Product Marketing, Events, and Design teams to create detailed and realistic timelines for content creation and execution.
  • Ensure all teams remain aligned by proactively communicating developments with cross-functional impact. Adapt staffing plans and timelines as necessary to address evolving needs and challenges, keeping all teams informed of updates and changes.

  • Act as the main point of contact for speakers, ensuring that they are well-prepared and briefed on expectations, technical requirements, and event logistics.

  • Partner with the production and AV teams to ensure that all technical aspects of the main stage are meticulously planned and executed. This includes working with lighting, sound, video, and stage design to achieve a cohesive, engaging main stage experience.

  • Lead in managing the final delivery of content, acting as the primary point of contact for the production team or external agency during rehearsals and throughout the event. Ensure all content is delivered on time and meets quality standards.

  • Schedule and communicate all table reads and pre-event/onsite rehearsals for both internal and external speakers. Serve as the main point of contact for rehearsal logistics, ensuring smooth execution and addressing any last-minute adjustments or issues.

  • Travel required to support onsite execution.

Minimum requirements:

  • 10+ years of professional experience in event management of large scale user and internal conferences in real life and virtually
  • Able to work collaboratively, creatively and cross-functionally in a dynamic work environment
  • Excellent influencing, problem-solving, and consensus-building skills with a track record of successfully navigating complex projects
  • Superior organizational, project management, written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrate attention to detail and proven track record to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously
  • Data-driven mindset to focus on setting goals, measuring KPIs, communicating milestones along the way, and teaming with other stakeholders to showcase the outcomes of each event to stakeholders
  • Ability and willingness to travel to event locations, both domestically and internationally, as needed to oversee logistics, speaker preparations, and main stage production details.
  • Bachelor's Degree

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with using Slack, Google Drive, Figma and Asana
  • Global event planning experience
  • Extensive knowledge of large event venues globally
A remote location is defined as being 35 miles (56 kilometers) or more from one of our offices. While you would be welcome to come into the office for team/business meetings, on-sites, meet-ups, and events, our expectation is you would regularly work from home rather than a Stripe office. Stripe does not cover the cost of relocating to a remote location. We encourage you to apply for roles that match the location where you currently live or plan to live.

The annual US base salary range for this role is $143,400 - $215,200. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location. Applicants interested in this role and who are not located in the US may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process.
