About the team
We’re looking for a strategic leader to join the People Solutions organization, who is passionate about the core technology powering Stripes Digital Experience.
2025 is the year of Enhancing and Automating our People Systems. The person who takes on this role will build and manage a long term strategy to maximize our core systems, be an advocate for simple scalable processes and have a deep technical understanding of core HR technologies.
What you’ll do
Responsibilities
- Build the core systems strategy and long term plan for people systems to include AI focus and consolidation
- Distill your leadership experience to the Systems Management Team through coaching, mentoring and performance management
- Own configuring and enhancing of our systems (ex. Workday, Greenhouse) to support accuracy, automation, efficiency and self service, in alignment to our overall Digital Experience approach
- Ensure appropriate security controls and documentation are implemented, enhanced and followed to fully meet security and compliance requirements across all systems
- Own the budget, capacity planning, prioritization and organizational health for the Systems Management team in partnership with peers across People Solutions, People and Places and Corporate Technology
- Support People Solutions in planning and prioritization with a focus on delivering scalable, repeatable, automated solutions
- Provide expertise and thought leadership to the wider organization on all aspects of People Systems
- Work directly with stakeholders to provide consultation on leveraging our HR systems strategically, providing feedback and change management enablement expertise.

Minimum qualifications
- 8+ years deep technical experience with HR systems & vendor relationships in high growth environments while leading transformational projects
- 5+ years experience managing HR Systems teams in 10k+ size organizationsStrong tech delivery roadmap and capacity planning ability
- Proven ability to work in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment
- Experience in driving complex operational initiatives and influencing senior leadership
- Experience developing and governing implementation methodologies while partnering with security to design solutions that adhere to internal guidelines plus meet business needs
- Excellent organizational skills & ability to partner across teams at all levels
- Extensive Workday & Recruiting Tech experience a major plus
The annual US base salary range for this role is $173,800 - $260,700. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location. Applicants interested in this role and who are not located in the US may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process.
