About the team
The Revenue Optimization team is part of Stripe Billing, one of our fastest-growing product areas. Within Billing, we own:
- Billing Analytics
- Smart retries and Revenue Recovery
- Automations (a no-code workflow builder)
Our team is working on Stripe's first real-time analytics features and has several ambitious projects, including improving the overall state of analytics at Stripe. We're a product-focused team, building user-facing features and regularly engaging with our users. We're distributed across North America and EMEA, allowing for collaboration with US engineering teams while being part of Stripe's global presence.
What you’ll do
As a Full Stack Engineer on the Revenue Optimization team, you'll work on products that directly impact Stripe's users. You'll contribute across our technology stack, including backend services, frontend interfaces, real-time data pipelines, and infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Build real-time analytics features using technologies like Apache Flink and Apache Pinot
- Improve and maintain smart retries and other revenue optimization features
- Collaborate with teams across Stripe to develop platform-wide tools and real-time analytics capabilities
- Develop functionality for Automations, our no-code workflow builder, and other strategic products
- Engage directly with users to understand their needs and gather feedback on features

The annual salary range for this role in the primary location is €81,600 - €122,400. This range may change if you are hired in another location. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings (“OTE”) range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and specific location. Applicants interested in this role and who are not located in the primary location may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process.
