About the team
The Link team at Stripe is building a fast, convenient, and best-in-class consumer checkout experience that delights consumers with embedded saved payment and identity tools while driving higher conversion and higher-margin transactions for our many millions of merchants. Based across North America, we're a diverse team who are deeply passionate about redefining the payment experience for consumers and creating outstanding value for merchants that increases revenue, lowers cost and grows their business. What you’ll do
You’ll work closely with your product partners to shape the future of Link. You’ll continue to help us build the fastest, most convenient, and safest checkout experience. You’ll explore how we can give consumers across the globe access to pay with and save whatever payment method they prefer, from credit cards to banks to BNPLs to a variety of local payment methods.
Responsibilities
- Design industry-leading consumer checkout experiences, focused specifically on bank payments and financial connections
- Work with engineering and product to design, build, and launch user-facing product experiences
- Partner closely with our user research team and support ongoing research projects
- Participate in design reviews and share your work regularly with design and company leadership

Minimum requirements
- 4+ years relevant design experience at a product-driven tech company
- Strong skills in visual design, interaction design, and prototyping demonstrated through a portfolio of work, spanning desktop and mobile surfaces
- Experience collaborating closely with engineering teams
- Experience leading changes to a design system
Preferred qualifications
- Experience designing consumer products
- Strong independence and an ability to advocate for a larger design vision with cross-functional stakeholders
- Ability to reduce complex problems down to the right balance of flexibility, power, and ease of use
- Skilled in explaining your work, process, and decisions to cross-functional stakeholders and crave feedback to help you produce your best work

The annual salary range for this role in the primary location is C$150,900 - C$226,300. This range may change if you are hired in another location. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings (“OTE”) range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and specific location. Applicants interested in this role and who are not located in the primary location may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process.
