To further this important mission, we are looking for insightful and analytical finance professionals to be the financial and strategic partners to our Vendor Workforce Management Team. Your work will be instrumental to Stripe achieving its mission and be highly visible to Stripe leadership.

About the team

The Core Tech & Operations Finance & Strategy team is an integral thought partner to Stripe’s CTO and functional leaders. We support Core Tech and Operations. We bring understanding and predictability to Stripe’s bottom line financials. We work cross functionally across many surfaces at Stripe and help steward Stripe’s resource investments to improve the durability of our long term financial performance.

What you’ll do

You will partner closely with our Workforce Management Team modeling Vendor costs, owning the FP&A processes related to vendor and strategic projects.

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with vendor delivery and workforce management to develop accurate budgets, long term financial models, and reforecasts
  • Leverage your financial background to support and influence key strategic and business decisions
  • Analyze financial data and performance metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide recommendations to management
  • Be your business teams’ financial partner for analysis and evaluation of strategic projects and initiatives (e.g. foundational investments or business model shifts)
  • Build and drive reporting, process and discipline for finance routines to shape and influence decision-making (e.g. budget, forecast, monthly reviews, long-range plans)
  • Build and own models for in-depth analyses, as well as ensure their quality, timeliness, and accuracy

Who you are

We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.

Minimum requirements

  • 7+ years of relevant experience in strategic finance or FP&A supporting Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), large scale operations and the associated planning/modeling
  • A keen analytical eye and experience building integrated models from scratch
  • Experience driving and executing on finance processes (e.g. budget, forecast reviews, negotiations)
  • A proven ability to build strong collaborative working relationships with business partners
  • A proven ability to be a self starter capable of driving business results without significant supervision
  • The ability to maintain high performance under tight timelines and a “roll up your sleeves” mindset to get any job done
  • SQL knowledge
  • Understanding of capacity planning models, support and operations metrics
  • The ability to bring structure to ambiguous areas of opportunity and thrive in an unstructured, fast-moving environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience working at a high-growth technology or financial services company
  • Oracle, Anaplan, or other equivalent application experience
  • Experience in data visualization and dashboarding
Office-assigned Stripes spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users. This hits a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility about how to do this in a way that makes sense for individuals and their teams.

The annual US base salary range for this role is $183,600 - $275,400. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location. Applicants interested in this role and who are not located in the US may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process.
