About Quanta
At Quanta, we’re building an AI-powered accounting and finance platform that fixes a major frustration for businesses: stale and slow financial data. What takes incumbents weeks, Quanta delivers in seconds. We’ve rebuilt accounting from the ground up — replacing outsourced manual work with software and turning static, outdated numbers into a live, contextual view of the business.
Our mission is simple but ambitious: enable every business decision to be made with instant and complete clarity. To achieve this, we’re not just building a product — we’re building a brand that will reshape how the world thinks about finance.
About the Team
We are a tight-knit team of 16, working fully in-person in downtown San Francisco.
Between us, we’ve:
Built accounting systems at Affirm
Shipped ledgers at Stripe and Robinhood
Founded companies and worked at unicorns
Built finance teams from one person to dozens
Passed CPA exams in a couple countries
Taken products from 0→1 and scaled systems to billions in transactions
We deeply understand the customers we serve — because we’ve lived their pain firsthand — and we care intensely about the future of finance we’re building together.
The Role
We’re looking for a scrappy, high-ownership Workplace Operations Generalist who will work closely with leadership and be an important member of the Quanta team who shapes employee experience. You’ll support everything from company operations to candidate scheduling to team events — and you’ll play a key role in helping our team move fast and stay focused.
This is an entry-into-tech role for someone early in their career who wants to see firsthand how an early-stage startup operates. You’ll have broad exposure across the whole company, real responsibility & impact, and the opportunity to shape foundational processes at a high-growth AI startup.
What You’ll Do
Workplace Management
Create and foster a warm, inviting environment for our teams to do their best work
Handle logistics, equipment, team events, and other “help the company run smoothly” tasks
Coordinate all office purchases, snacks, supplies, Amazon/Instacart, lunches and dinners
Support day-to-day operations across HR, recruiting, and administrative workflows
Run on-boarding/off-boarding, access management, and internal documentation
Maintain and improve internal systems (Notion, Slack, Google Workspace, etc.)
Early-Stage Work
Assist with project management, engineering/development planning and organizational needs
Own random-but-critical projects: event logistics, research, contractor coordination, workflow audits - whatever it takes to win
Solve small problems before they become big ones
Spin up new processes and iterate quickly as the company grows
Be the catch-all person who jumps in when something just needs to get done
Who You Are
Early-career (1–4 years experience) or a recent grad eager to learn and grow
Exceptionally organized; you enjoy structure, checklists, and closing loops
Strong communicator who’s comfortable interacting with teammates, partners, and investors
Proactive problem-solver with a “no job too small” mentality
Comfortable with ambiguity and rapid context switching
Tech-savvy and quick to learn new tools or workflows
Excited about AI, finance, accounting, or the intersection of technology and business operations
Nice to Have
Experience at a startup or in a similar fast-moving environment - restaurant, retail or customer service exp. is great!
Exposure to operations, administrative work, project coordination, or executive support
Interest in finance, accounting, or AI automation (no prior background required)
What Success Looks Like
The team feels supported and the company runs more smoothly
You build processes that make the organization more efficient, not more bureaucratic
Projects stay on track because you keep communication, priorities, and follow-through tight
You become a trusted, go-to operator who’s integral to how the company functions
Our Benefits
Competitive early-stage equity
Competitive early-stage salary ($88K–$100K+)
All the office tools and equipment you need to be productive
Health, dental, and vision insurance
401(k)
Commuter benefits
Take-what-you-need paid vacation
Paid lunches and dinners in the office
