Noun Project launched in 2011 to build a global visual language that unites the world - a language that allows quick and easy communication no matter who you are or where you are. Since then, our community of creators has built the most diverse and extensive collection of visual language in the world, used by nearly 10 million people. In 2016, the team behind Noun Project launched Lingo, a modern digital asset manager used by some of the world’s best-known brands including Target, Headspace, LinkedIn, and Salesforce. We believe that visual language has the power to shape, reinforce, and change perceptions. Through initiatives like Iconathons, community design workshops, and the Redefining Women collection, we have been building the most extensive and diverse collection of icons ever created. To further support our vision, in 2020 we launched Noun Project Photos — a mission-driven, art-quality collection of photos celebrating diversity and representing a more inclusive world.
