Role Summary

As lead of our Associate Clinician Program, you will support and elevate the supervision function across the organization—setting clinical quality standards, supporting and developing supervisors, and ensuring all supervision practices align with regulatory requirements and best practices. You'll partner cross-functionally to build scalable supervision frameworks, provide guidance on complex or high-risk cases, and drive consistency in documentation, training, and clinical decision-making. This role will ensure both supervisors and associate clinicians are supported, compliant, and equipped to deliver high-quality care.

What You'll Do

Clinical Oversight & Quality

  • Develop, implement, and maintain consistent standards for clinical supervision
  • Ensure supervision practices align with ethical guidelines, licensing board requirements, and best practices
  • Oversee and provide clinical support on complex or high-risk cases.
  • Review and provide support for clinical interviews and their final scorecards.

Supervisor Support & Development

  • Train, mentor, and support a team of clinical supervisors
  • Provide consultation and escalation support for challenging clinical situations
  • Support the coordination of supervisors joining the team and/or transitioning from therapist to supervisor within the Mood Team
  • Facilitate ongoing professional development and calibration among supervisors
  • Be available for emergency and/or short term coverage for Supervision of associates.

Program Development

  • Design and improve supervision frameworks, tools, and workflows
  • Standardize documentation, expectations, and supervision processes
  • Partner cross-functionally to integrate supervision into broader clinical operations

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Offer training and oversight for Clinical Interviewers of Associates.
  • Guarantee supervision aligns with all state and federal regulations.
  • Collaborate with leadership to identify and address clinical risks.
  • Provide effective coaching and support to both supervisors and clinicians.
  • Support audit processes and maintain precise supervision records.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Work closely with Clinical Leadership, Operations, and Credentialing teams
  • Communicate updates, expectations, and best practices to supervisors and clinicians
  • Contribute to organizational initiatives that impact clinical care delivery

Who You Are

  • Active, unrestricted clinical LCSW license (e.g., LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, Psychologist)
  • Meets BBS requirements for providing clinical supervision
  • 5+ years of post-licensure clinical experience
  • 2+ years experience supervising or mentoring clinicians
  • Strong knowledge of ethical standards, risk management, and clinical best practices
  • Familiar with BBS Regulations regarding Associate and Supervisor requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a leadership or program development role
  • Familiarity with telehealth or remote care models
  • Strong organizational, communication, and training skills
  • Experience implementing and coaching clinicians on performance improvement plans
  • Technical and technology skills
