Lead Analyst, Product Experience
As our Lead Analyst, Product Experience, you’ll be the heartbeat of our Strategy, Analytics, and Research team. You’re here to cut through the noise and tell us the real story of how our creatives interact with our products. You’ll sit right at the intersection of deep product curiosity and disciplined analytical rigour, turning data into clear, actionable evidence. You’ll be a trusted strategic advisor to our Head of Product and leadership teams, challenging assumptions and sharpening our product strategy. Whether you're diving into the mechanics of AI tool adoption or identifying the friction points in a user's journey, your insights will directly steer Envato toward its next phase of growth.
Cool stuff you'll get to work on
- Probing the "why" and going beyond the surface to understand behavioural mechanisms like why do users engage, why do they drop off, and where is the friction truly hiding?Leading the analysis by framing critical questions and translating evidence into insights that actually move the needle.
- Acting as a high level advisor to product leaders, helping to sharpen judgement and guide high quality decisions with a commercial lens.
- Establishing a consistent, robust approach to A/B testing and causal analysis, embedding experimentation into the very fabric of how we build.
- Connecting the dots by linking product engagement (like how a user discovers a specific asset) to big picture outcomes like retention and lifetime value.
- Driving speed to insight and ensuring your analysis doesn't just sit in a slide deck but leads quickly to decisions and real world outcomes.
- Elevating the craft by coaching Product Managers to interrogate their own assumptions and use data more effectively in their daily rituals.
Is this you?
- You’re product obsessed, have a relentless curiosity about how products work and an instinctive need to understand human behaviour through data.
- You can synthesise massive amounts of data into a clear, structured narrative that both techies and non techies actually enjoy reading.
- You’re an experimentation expert, a pro with platforms like Optimizely or Amplitude, and you know how to design a hypothesis that yields a real answer.
- You bring advanced SQL skills, experience with GA4 and Tableau, and ideally a bit of Python to keep things interesting.
- You’re comfortable (and kind) when interrogating prevailing narratives; you use evidence to confirm, refine, or gracefully overturn assumptions.
- You know when to go deep with statistical models and when to provide a fast, directional gut check based on commercial context.
