The Job:
We’re looking for a contract Performance Marketing Media Buyer to own performance marketing for one of our core apps. You’ll partner closely with the Director of Growth to test new channels, develop a world-class creative testing program, and drive efficient user growth through rigorous experimentation. The ideal individual thrives at the intersection of data, creative, and growth, and brings experience in performance-driven environments like mobile apps, gaming, or consumer subscriptions.
This is a 13-month fixed-term parental leave cover where you’ll step into a high-impact position, owning the execution of app install performance marketing campaigns. This is a fully remote contract position, open to individuals based anywhere in North or South America.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
Build, optimize, and maintain performance marketing campaigns on Paid Social and/or DSP channels
Drive efficient new user acquisition to one of our flagship apps
Present weekly performance trends and campaign optimization recommendations
Ideate and execute A/B tests to continuously improve campaign performance
Write weekly creative briefs
Monitoring and updating project trackers for media buying projects and creative testing
What We’re Looking For:
2+ years of performance marketing experience in AppLovin or Meta for US-based audiences
Experience with hands-on-keyboard management of direct-response campaigns
Understanding of performance marketing direct-response KPIs like CAC, ROAS, and LTV
Ability to navigate business intelligence tools like Looker, Amplitude, or Tableau
Strong attention to detail and project management skills
A true builder’s mindset: proactive, resourceful, and comfortable navigating ambiguity
Bonus Points:
Background in running performance marketing campaigns for a subscription app
Passion for education, mental fitness, and making learning delightful
Compensation:
This is a 13-month, ~30 hrs/week, 1099 contract position running from May 2026 through May 2027. The estimated hourly pay range is $46-60/hr.
