We’re looking for a Director of Sales in France to join our Commercial Team, leading our key partners in France on strategy, growth and revenue with DICE.

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced commercial leader to join the team at DICE. You’ll be accountable for driving exponential growth amongst France’s leading venues and promoters. You will work closely with internal stakeholders in wider global markets to ensure all business opportunities are maximised, with a focus on French expansion and new partnerships.

We work with the best artists, promoters and venues in music and culture, like Knockdown Center in New York, Alexandra Palace in London, Club Space in Miami, and Pitchfork Festival in Paris. You’ll form relationships with leading venues and promoters, helping them thrive with DICE.

You’ll be

  • Responsible for the sales target for France.
  • Leading the vision for the French team and ensuring all team members are motivated, supported and engaged in DICE’s vision and objectives.

  • Identifying, negotiating and closing partnerships with the best independent venues and promoters.

  • Educating your network about DICE.

  • Resetting the DICE brand in the market, working with the teams on creative ways to get DICE and the teams front and centre in each market.

  • Encouraging the teams to think outside of the box to remain competitive and ahead of our competitors.

  • Establishing and driving the strategy for new business in the team, across lead generation, deal modelling, negotiation and closing.

  • Driving the strategy for expansion into new cities within existing markets, working closely with the Sales Operations team to implement processes, systems and reports to monitor growth.
  • Accountable for forecasting, reporting and managing up to the Senior Director of Sales for UK/Europe.

  • Providing weekly progress reports, enabling clear visibility on the French pipeline and pathway to closing deals.

  • Collaborating with the other sales teams globally, leveraging ideas and maximising revenue opportunities.

  • Engaging in leading operational efficiency between content and account management in France.
  • Working with Operations to make sure deals go smoothly.

You need

  • Experience in a ticketing sales leadership role.

  • Strong track record of achieving goals and exceeding business expectations.
  • Track record of selling and closing complex deals.

  • A network of potential partners and local knowledge of France’s entertainment & events scene.
  • Great communication and presentation skills.

  • Demonstrated business and commercial acumen.

  • Knowledge of Salesforce or similar sales tools.

  • Stellar networking skills and the ability to make impactful partnerships happen.

  • Excellent communication skills in English and French, both written and verbal, along with strong attention to detail.

This position is based in Paris, France, with travel across key cities in France and the opportunity for travel to the London office.
