City Manager, Music Partnerships - Dallas
Live shows make us feel good. They’re a time to hang with our friends, discover new artists or lose ourselves on a dance floor. We’re on a mission to bring all of this to more fans, more often.
At DICE, you’ll be part of the company that’s redefining live entertainment. It's a place where you can be yourself, influence the culture, and create work that you’re proud of.
We're scaling our US operations and need local voices to help us break into new markets – and this is where you come in.
About the role
We're looking for plugged-in locals in key US cities to act as our eyes, ears, and connectors in the music scene. As a DICE City Manager, you'll use your existing relationships to introduce us to venues, promoters, and festivals that would benefit from partnering with DICE.
This is a part-time, commission-based role (contract). You don't need to sell anything - you just need to make introductions and open doors.
You’ll be
- Researching your local scene to identify prospective partners (venues, promoters, festivals) that aren't yet working with DICE.
-
Making warm introductions to the DICE business development team - get the conversation started.
- Representing DICE at local events, industry meetups, and openings when appropriate.
-
Sharing market intelligence - let us know who's who, what's changing, and what venues are thinking.
-
Facilitating connections - help us set up meetings, coffee chats, and introductions with key decision-makers.
This is not an Account Manager role. You won't be negotiating contracts, handling any operational or ticketing tasks, managing ongoing partner relationships, cold calling or direct selling.
You are
- Passionate, humble and talented
-
A fan of music and culture
-
Actively responsible
-
Flexible in fast-changing environments
-
Charismatic and outgoing
You need
-
Deep local knowledge - You know the music scene in your city. You know which venues are hot, who the key promoters are, and what's coming up.
-
Strong network - You have real relationships with venue managers, promoters, and festival organizers (or can reach them).
-
Communication skills - You can make an intro email feel natural, not awkward.
-
Reliability - You do what you say you'll do.
-
Passion for live music - This isn't just a gig - you care about the scene.

Commitment & Compensation
- Time commitment: 10 hours per month (flexible)
- Retainer: $250 paid monthly to cover your coffees and networking costs
- You will be paid per deal - there is no cap on earnings if you bring us multiple great partners.
Application process & how it'll work
The process will be quick. Apply with a brief intro telling us about your city, your scene, and your network. We'll set up a 30-minute call to see if there's a fit. If successful, you'll receive an onboarding pack with DICE info, our value prop, and a target list. And then you'll start making introductions - we'll handle the rest from there.
