Senior Product Designer [Contract]
DICE
Senior Product Designer (Fan Experience), 3-month initial contract, London
Live shows make us feel good. They’re a time to hang with our friends, discover new artists or lose ourselves on a dance floor.
We’re on a mission to bring all of this to more fans, more often – and that’s where you come in. We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to shape the fan experience that sits at the heart of this mission.
About the role
Having set the bar with a “weirdly easy” purchasing experience for tickets, DICE is doubling down on helping fans discover new artists and staying connected to those they love already. This role sits within a cross-functional product team to build out a category-defining product at the intersection of fans, artists, and the ecosystem that surrounds them.
You will
Work with product and engineering from concept to launch, delivering best-in-class experiences.
Gather user insights in consultation with our researcher to help define product opportunities and fuel discovery.
Collaborate with your product team to facilitate ideation and design new offerings that stay true to our principle of being “weirdly easy”.
Co-lead your team alongside the product and engineering managers, influence product strategy, development processes and rituals.
Play an active role in communicating design decisions and product vision across teams and the organisation at large.
Participate in regular critique with a group of product designers, writers, researchers and localisation experts to elevate our work product.
About you
You love music, and you are passionate about our mission to bring more people together through live shows.
You are exceptional at your craft, and working constantly to level up. Strong visual design foundations, and prototyping skills are a must.
You can design proficiently for responsive web, native iOS and Android platforms.
You are an effective communicator, using both words and visuals to tell compelling stories, and defend design decisions.
You are experienced in designing best-in-class consumer products employing personalisation, game mechanics, social or similar levers to drive user engagement and loyalty.
You have a playbook of best practices but know how to adapt them to your needs.
You are comfortable in a fast-paced, fluid environment where your team is held accountable to highly ambitious goals.
We recognise the benefits of hybrid working, and want to create the best balance to ensure we can continue working together effectively. For our UK team, we have a hybrid work policy of three days in the office and two days from anywhere. You can chat about your specific team’s days and expectations during the interview process.
Application process
Our process usually involves a quick chat on the phone, a portfolio review or task and a couple of interviews where you’ll meet the people you’ll work with. We’ll keep you fully informed along the way.
