At Commure, we're building the AI Operating System for healthcare, the foundation that defines how care is delivered, documented, and financed. Our platform spans the full care journey: Ambient AI and Dictation eliminating documentation burden at the point of care, intelligent Agents automating patient and revenue workflows, and autonomous RCM processing billions in claims, all on a single AI-native platform integrated with 60+ EHRs.

Healthcare carries a $1 trillion administrative burden and we're at the center of transforming it. Today, 500,000+ clinicians across 500+ healthcare organizations nationwide trust Commure to handle $25B+ in annual claims and support over 200 million patient interactions. Our latest $70M raise at a $7B valuation reflects the confidence the market has placed in this mission. We've also been named to the Fortune Future 50 list and the 2026 AI Breakthrough Awards for “Overall NLP Company of the Year.”

Our team works directly alongside clinicians, not through layers of process, which means the gap between what you build and its impact on patient care is immediate. We move fast, deploy daily, and take full ownership from early thinking to production. If you're energized by hard problems, high stakes, and a team that holds itself to a high bar, you'll find your people here.

The future of healthcare is being built right now. Come deliver this transformation.

About the Role

Commure's finance team is rebuilding revenue accounting from the ground up, and this role is the architect of that rebuild. We're creating a brand-new Manager, Revenue Accounting & Deal Operations position to do two things at once: stand up our deal desk function from scratch, and modernize the technical infrastructure that supports revenue recognition across a fast-growing, multi-product healthcare technology business.

This isn't a maintain-the-status-quo role. You'll be the primary accounting owner of deal desk — building the process, the playbooks, and the cross-functional muscle memory with Sales, Legal, and Revenue Operations that doesn't yet exist at scale. In parallel, you'll partner with our broader revenue accounting team on close, reconciliations, and audit support, and you'll have real influence over which tools and automation we adopt to get there. Our finance team invests aggressively in emerging finance technology, and you'll have the opportunity to engage in the debate and build out around how AI and automation should change the way revenue accounting and deal desk work gets done.

If you want to build something from a blank page rather than inherit a finished process, and you want a direct hand in shaping how a scaling, IPO-track company runs deal desk and revenue accounting, this is that seat.

What You'll Do

Deal Desk & Process Ownership

  • Build our deal desk function. Design and build the finance deal desk from the ground up — intake, deal structuring support, approval workflows, and documentation — in close partnership with Sales, Legal, and Revenue Operations.

  • Set the playbook. Create the frameworks, templates, and guardrails that let Sales structure deals quickly while keeping revenue recognition, pricing, and contractual risk in check.

  • Be the go-to accounting voice on deal structuring. Advise on non-standard terms, bundled arrangements, and complex pricing models in real time, before deals are finalized — not after.

  • Drive adoption. Train and influence Sales, Legal, and Rev Ops on how to work with the new deal desk process, and iterate quickly as the business scales.

Revenue Accounting Transformation & Technical Accounting

  • Modernize the infrastructure. Reimagine how revenue accounting operates — from contract review through recognition — with an eye toward scalability, automation, and IPO-grade controls.

  • Own the technical calls. Perform research and prepare accounting memos under ASC 606 for complex, multi-element, and non-standard arrangements.

  • Keep policy current. Maintain and evolve revenue recognition policy so it holds up consistently across a growing and diversifying product portfolio.

Technology & Automation

  • Bring the tools. Evaluate and implement revenue automation and AI-enabled tooling that reduce manual work across deal desk and revenue accounting alike — this team treats emerging finance technology as a core capability, not a side project.

Operational Revenue Accounting

  • Support the close. Collaborate on monthly and quarterly revenue close, including reconciliations, journal entries, and account analyses.

Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Connect the dots for FP&A. Support forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis for revenue with clear, well-documented inputs.

  • Be a trusted partner, not a bottleneck. Build the kind of credibility with Sales and Legal that makes deal desk a resource teams want to use, not a hurdle they route around.

Compliance & Audit

  • Support external audits. Prepare PBC schedules and respond to auditor inquiries related to revenue.

  • Build for IPO readiness. Contribute to revenue policy refinement, process documentation, and control enhancements ahead of a public-company bar.

What You Have

  • 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a revenue recognition, technical accounting, or deal desk role in a high-growth, unstructured environment

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA strongly preferred

  • In-depth knowledge of ASC 606 and related technical guidance

  • Deal desk exposure or strong exposure to deal structuring is a plus

  • Hands-on experience with NetSuite, Salesforce, and revenue automation tools — and genuine enthusiasm for evaluating new finance technology, including AI-enabled tools

  • Experience supporting external financial audits and building SOX-compliant processes

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail

  • Excellent communication, with ability to distill complex financial topics into clear, compelling narratives

  • Comfort in a high-visibility role; confident presenting to senior executives and external partners

  • Bias for action and ability to drive multiple, concurrent projects to completion

  • Comfortable owning ambiguity in a fast-paced, scaling private company environment

Cultural Expectations

At Commure, success comes from:

  • Acting with urgency and accountability — delivering results quickly without compromising accuracy or compliance

  • Partnering across functions to proactively identify and resolve high-impact challenges

  • Building solutions that are both effective today and scalable for tomorrow, especially with IPO-readiness in mind

  • Leading with collaboration, empathy, and a commitment to our mission

  • Thriving in an environment where priorities can shift quickly, and adaptability is key
