What you'll do
The Executive Administrator and People Ops Manager role offers unique exposure to many facets of growth-stage startup operations.
As the People and Operations Administrator, you will be the right-hand to our founders and executive team. You will be a trusted partner in all forms of administrative support, unlocking time for our Co-Founders to focus on key company priorities. You will be responsible for managing o calendars, scheduling meetings, and helping them tackle requests and tasks.
You will play a key role in providing candidates and new hires with seamless interviewing and onboarding experiences. You will also spearhead company culture initiatives such as planning monthly virtual team engagements as well as our beloved twice-annual company offsites.
This role requires working primarily west coast hours, with some flexibility permitted.
Responsibilities

Executive Support (40%)
Provide a range of administrative support for August Health’s Co-Founders, including calendar management, meeting logistics, and travel coordination
Triage and follow-up on Co-Founder task requests from August Health team members and external contacts
Elevate meeting efficiency by confirming agendas and tracking next steps
Tackle special projects at the discretion of the Co-Founders or other division leads

People & HR Support (40%)
Coordinate candidate communication as needed, which could include interview scheduling, follow ups, etc.
Ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new hires by tracking documentation, updating HR systems and ordering technology and welcome swag
Plan and coordinate events to promote company culture, including monthly virtual engagements and twice-annual company offsites

GTM Support (20%)
Support conference logistics, including booking passes, managing vendors, prepping conference agendas, and placing orders
Coordinate client and partner appreciation gifts as needed.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience as an executive assistant or in startup operations, HR, or admin.
Experience planning and executing events
Experience with executive-level calendar management and communication
Experience interacting with and managing vendors
Experience working in fast-paced companies
Fanatical attention to detail
Ability to complete tasks quickly with little to no guidance and react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to “manage up”
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments at any given time
High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism
Exceptional problem solver
Familiarity with Google Suite
Bonus: familiarity with HR software like Justworks and/or applicant tracking systems
Bonus: interest in senior living and/or age tech!
